What is Career Coaching?
By now many people have heard of Life Coaching, a highly skill based process in which the client and coach create a partnership working towards achievement of the client's agenda. According to the International Coach Federation, the coaching relationship creates inspiring thought and insight along with productive goal setting for the purpose of promoting achievement of the client's goals, personal, professional or both. Career Coaching combines the skill set used in life coaching with career management processess individualized for each client needs. For example, career management might entail career assessments, including personal values, skills, and motivation determination, etc., an indepth look at career interests, brand identity, career marketing, and creating career management strategies, etc.
